We worked in mini groups to make the Granville theme coasters - we slathered on the glue and then they slapped the letter on - and then each child found the first letter of their name to make the one that just looks like a jumble of letters. Thank you to Kelly Nesler for leading this project!

Project 1
36x24 - Swirling Seas
Each child was provided a square to color with their choice of medium - markers, oil pastels, chalk pastels, colored pencils, gel pens and crayons were amongst the choices. After all were done, we placed each square on a board to make the larger picture.
Project 2

Each child was photographed making a heart with their hands. All images were compiled and a layer added to the top.

1st Grade: Brecheisen
The children in Mrs. Brecheisen’s first grade class worked together on the playground by maneuvering themselves and their hands to form the shape of a heart. We then took a photo and had it printed and framed. The children each independently wrote their names on the matted frame to “sign” the artwork for their class project. Thank you to Marissa Johnson and Sarah Turner for leading this project!
